How to Go to Bali


There are many ways to go on holiday to Bali. You can choose various modes of transportation to reach Bali, adjusted to the origin of holiday departure to Bali or according to existing funds. But in general to go to Bali is as follows:
1. Aircraft

Aircraft or air transport is the easiest way to reach Bali. All aircraft coming to Bali will land at Ngurah Rai International Airport.
2. Airport

Ngurah Rai International Airport located in Tuban, South Bali, is the second busiest airport in Indonesia after Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Jakarta. Located about 13 kilometers from Denpasar, Ngurah Rai Airport has undergone a major renovation since 2013.

Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali has 2 (two) terminals, namely Domestic Terminal and International Terminal which now has a new look. The new Domestic Terminal consists of 2 (two) floors. The 1st floor serves ticketing and passenger check-in process, while Floor 2 contains waiting rooms for the 1520 gate. The Arrival section in the Domestic Terminal includes two conveyors to collect the luggage.

Meanwhile, the new International Terminal consists of 3 (three) floors, namely Floor 1, used as ticketing and checking checks; 2nd floor as waiting room for gate 19; and 3rd floor, consisting of lounge and public shower. The International Terminal Arrival section has 146 baggage conveyors.

3. Ships

For a budget traveler or backpacker, land and sea routes are a more affordable and challenging option to Bali. Travelers who choose the sea route will enter through the Port of Gilimanuk, located in Jembrana District, West Bali.

Currently, there are about 24 ferry boats that are traveling daily from Ketapang Port (Banyuwangi, East Java) to a port of approximately 4 hectares.

Gilimanuk Port can be about 2 hours to Denpasar and 2.5 hours to Kuta.

Transportation in Bali

Although including the developed areas and major tourist destinations, public transport in Bali is relatively limited compared to other regions. Transportation commonly used by tourists during the Bali are taxis, motorcycles and rental cars or motorcycles.

1. Taxi

Taxis are a public transport option that tourists often use when on holiday in Bali, although some taxi fleets do not use argo. 3. Rent a car / motorcycle
